General

Do I need to keep my PC on for it to work?
No. Everything works on our cloud servers 24/7. You can turn off your computer and your strategies will continue operating without interruptions.
Which brokers are compatible?

TPL Cloud is compatible with most brokers and prop firms that operate with MetaTrader 5. This includes popular brokers like IC Markets, Pepperstone, Exness, VTMarkets, and prop firms like FTMO, FundingPips, FundedNext, among others.

If your broker doesn't appear in the list, it means it's currently not supported. You can contact us to request its inclusion.

What is the typical latency?
Typical latency is less than 1 second from when TradingView sends the signal until it executes on MT5. Fast and efficient for your strategies.
Do I need to keep TradingView open?
No. Once you configure your alerts in TradingView with the webhook, they fire automatically from TradingView's servers. You don't need to keep any window open.
Is there a limit on received signals?
No. There is no limit on the number of signals you can receive. You can configure as many alerts as you need and all will be processed automatically.

Security

Is it safe to give my MT5 credentials?
Absolutely. Your passwords are stored encrypted. In addition, trading credentials (investor or trader password) only allow opening/closing trades, never withdrawing funds. Your money is safe.
Who has access to my credentials?
Only the TPL Cloud system has access to your credentials, and only to execute orders. Credentials are encrypted and stored securely.

Configuration

What if my broker has different symbol names?
TPL Cloud includes automatic symbol mapping. If your broker uses "EURUSD.r" instead of "EURUSD", you can configure the mapping in the Connection Editor and signals will be automatically translated.
Can I use one webhook for multiple accounts?
Yes. A webhook can connect to multiple accounts through mappings. Each mapping can use a different symbol, allowing you to trade the same strategy on different brokers or instruments.
How does the free trial work?
The free trial gives you full access to TPL Cloud for 7 days with 1 account without needing a credit card. You can connect your MT5 account, configure alerts and test the entire system. If you like it, simply activate your subscription.

Common Problems

My account doesn't connect, what do I do?
Verify that the login, password and server are correct. Make sure to use the trading password, not the investor one. The server must match exactly with your broker's. If the problem persists, wait a few minutes and refresh the page.
The alert doesn't execute on MT5

Verify the following:

  • The webhook URL is correct
  • The alert is active in TradingView
  • The webhook is connected to an account in the Connection Editor
  • The symbol is configured correctly in the mapping

Additionally, you can review the event history both on the webhook page and on the account page. There you will see all received signals along with the failure reason if any didn't execute correctly, which will help you quickly identify and solve the problem.

What do I do if my account disconnects frequently?
Verify that the broker doesn't have IP restrictions. Check that the credentials haven't expired or changed. If the problem persists, contact support.
